FredRank NFL: 2019 Week 10

For weeks, the Miami Dolphins were distinctly the last place team in FredRank, without a doubt. Last week, the Jets began to challenge them for that spot. But as of this week, after a few more upsets, we have a distinct bottom five.

It shouldn't be that much of a surprise. They have some of the worst records in the league this season and were rated lowly going into the past week.

What may come as a surprise is that the Bills are an AFC bubble team at #23. If you haven't read my NFL posts before, I'll say again what I've been saying: the NFC is much stronger this year. Playing the schedule of a third-place finisher doesn't give the Bills much of a challenge—or much of an opportunity to prove if they're really contenders.

For now, the Bills sit on the outside of my playoff picture. The Oakland Raiders make it in with an identical record and a stronger schedule.

Elsewhere, the Rams fall out and the Seahawks move to the top of the bubble, with the Panthers coming in ahead. I'm honestly surprised that Seattle's stock didn't rise much more after their win against the undefeated 49ers. I think it comes down to it being one game, at a point where teams have now played 9 or 10. One game does not make a pattern.
