I said last time that North Carolina A&T would probably make the tournament as an at-large pick if they should end up losing another game. There's now a decent chance that this ends up happening, as Florida A&M has snuck up to the top 25. The two play this week in what has been rescheduled to be a Sunday showdown. Even if NC A&T does win, I'd take FAMU to the tournament right now.
Both teams have just one loss, both to strong FBS teams in UCF and Duke. A two-loss MEAC runner-up probably deserves a shot at the tournament, depending on how they look when all is done in the regular season.
(And don't think I don't see you, Bethune-Cookman. Very much a similar situation, just less likely to pull off an upset over either of the other two.)
From there, it's all pretty straightforward. Remember, teams in the first two rounds are matched up based on location; any two teams in the field who don't get a top 8 seed could play in that first round.
